Lamb
I have never made lamb.
I want to make it for Easter.
What would be the easiest way to make it? Rack, leg etc.
And where can I purchase it? I'm in Ronkonkoma.

Re: Lamb
i just made a 6lb boneless leg yesterday. i wanted it to be fork tender. i stuffed it with garlic and parsley and put salt and pepper and put it in the roasting pan in the oven at 375 for an hour after that hour I added red wine and stock to the bottom of the pan and put it back in the oven for another hour then the last hour I covered it with foil so I cooked 3 hours total. I took it out let it rest. I removed the grease from the top of the pan juices and brought them to a simmer and added some lemon juice salt and pepper thickened it up a bit with some cornstarch. it came out soo tender
cant help u with where to buy it cuz im in bk

Re: Lamb
Leg & Shoulder. If you can find New Zealand vs USA = much better. We usually find it in Waldbaums and buy when it's on sale and freeze. We ask the butcher to de-bone and cube it for Shish Kebabs.

Re: Lamb
All of the supermarkets are advertising lamb on sale this week. The rack is about triple the price per lb. as the leg, FYI.
