Las Vegas on the cheap
I am looking to surprise my DH with a trip to Vegas for his 30th bday this March. Orbitz and yahoo travel have 4 days with flights at like $2500
Can anyone share some solutions.

Southwest has a deal for $99 each way/person from Long Island.
Book by December 14 for travel through May 10, 2007

Definitely try booking airfare and hotel on your own first.... Like posted earlier Southwest has some good deals. Also call some travel agents, many have packaged deals with airfare and hotel. Keep in mind you'll pay more for staying Friday and Saturday nights.

We stayed at a cheap hotel. The way we figured, we don't spend time in the room at all except to sleep and would rather spend that money on a show or gambling. We stayed at a cheap hotel right in the middle of the strip- it was called the Boardwalk. Now, its not as fancy as the others, but you are in the middle of everything and saving a ton of money.

I got a good deal to stay at the Bellagio 2 years ago on Expedia...
If you check Expedia they have some really good deals
