Last closing question- opinions?
OK, so- we can close on Monday- the last day of the month, and have our first mortgage payment due in June.
or
we can close next Friday, pay all the interest out of pocket at closing- for the whole month of May, and have our first mortgage payment due in July.
I can't figure out which is more beneficial...
Thoughts?

At the end of the day it's just a timing difference between what you pay at closing and what you pay in your monthly payment. So I would figure out financially which would be easier for you and then go with that.....

I had this same debate when I closed this month. Could have closed March 30, but went with April, so I could not have first mortgage payment until June, that's what worked best for us. Good luck with CLOSING!

Go for next Friday.........it will give you more time to keep a paycheck. LOL
Im closing in May also.......payments will start in July. I feel I will have a little more time to save just a little bit more before I cant anymore
