LAST MINUTE: Need rec's for a ski resort place!

Hi, my DH is turning 30 on the 14th, yes like 3 days away. We wouldnt be going on his b-day cause we both have to work, but it would be 2-3 nights the week inbetween Christmas and New Years. I woud like to book something today/tomorrow so I could tell him I booked something!

Im looking for a place that offers more than just skiing since we are both beginners. He has never been skiing and I went once as a teen. Needless to say, we'll both be on the bunny slope. We are looking to snow tube though. Something definitely with a spa. The room, I would like a place that's romantic, has a fireplace, possibly a hot tub.

Can you ladies recommend anything? I have no idea where to start!

We go to Mount Snow in Vermont.

The rooms are really nice-- Im sure they must have one with a fireplace or jacuzzi tub. They also have skiing, snow tubing, and the outdoor pool is heated and very romantic. The restaurant is also really really good!

I love the lodge, it has a beautiful fireplace to hangout near.

Keep in mind the drive to Vermont is 4-5 hours, totally worth it tho :)

I always recommend the Roxbury Motel to everyone! Its the best! Think the nicest hotel to be called a motel EVER

And its got a spa, its about 2 hours away from LI and is close to Bellayre Mountain.

I would go to the Great Wolf Lodge/Camelback for an indoor water park and skiing. Alternatively, I would look for a spa resort with a ski lodge.
