Last minute trip need hotel help!
I am trying to find a hotel for a last minute trip we are planning the end of this month. I looked in the catskills, Poconos and southern Vermont but couldn't find anything that we want that was still available. We would like something that has a decent restaurant on site, has rooms with a balcony / patio, has a pool and is near a place to hike.
We have a 2 & 4 year old. So we want to have a room with a balcony so we can sit and have a glass of wine at the end of the night. I am having such a hard time finding that. Any suggestions? We don't want to do Woodloch or Great Wolf Lodge yet. TIA!

Minerals or Grand Cascades in NJ. Also check on groupon getaways. I often come up with new ideas from checking on there.

What dates are you looking at? I've never been, but I think Mohonk Mountain House looks nice. Probably booked up - I checked a random date at end of the month and it was booked.
