Last post re: BPA bottle credits....BRU/BBB
I went today w/ my MIL to BRU in Westbury. I had a bag full & we get to the counter & the girl wanted no part of us. She asked where the receipt was; I told her we didn't have it. She asked for boxes; I told her I didn't have it. She wasn't budging on anything. I asked for a mgr. The mgr comes & said, our new policy is no boxes, no receipt, no return. I said that's funny b/c a friend returned a bunch yesterday. She asked for mgr's name--I had no idea.
She then said, I'm sorry there's nothing I can do; go directly to Dr. Browns.
I told them its ridiculous how there is no set policy & it is just a matter of what time of day you come in & who you speak to.
We were in the neighborhood so we went to BBB. We walked in, handed them the bottles & they gave us a store credit (for anything, not just bottles), no questions asked, NOTHING. 1, 2, 3. It was GREAT.
The only thing I said was a friend returned some earlier this week & they called a mgr over & he took them no problem.
Just an FYI
HOWEVER, the don't have the BPA free bottles in stock yet; not for another week.

That's great!!! I'm so glad it worked out. Yeah, I went to BRU yesterday in Westbury and they took them back, but they said I had to buy other bottle. My DD is 17 months and I didn't need any. I bought one package of 4 oz Evenflo glass bottles and they let me get sippy cups instead. They keep changing their minds with returns, I wish they would keep their policy straight.
