questions for those who put cereal in the bottle...
Did you do it bc of acid reflux or to help them fill up and sleep longer and did it work?TIA

We only did it - cause she was already on it (cause we felt she was ready for it) and we had an issue with the spoon that wouldn't eat off it anymore, so we did it for a 'little' bit and tried with the spoon again.
Honestly, I don't advise it - only because it is a pain in the rear to get them to eat it off the spoon after they are used to the bottle

Because of severe reflux, as per DS's Gastro Dr, we put 1 Tbsp of cereal in 2 oz formula. It definitely helped.

My ped had us do it bc my son was so big and drinking wayyy too much formula daily.

We did it b/c of reflux. We started DS on cereal by spoon at just under 3 months b/c he was so darn hungry.

The Dr. told us to do it for his reflux. But, sleeping longer was definitely a nice side effect. We had no trouble transitioning him to eating cereal from the spoon.

we did it for major reflux starting at 6 weeks - she still didnt sleep through until almost 3 months old

We put cereal in his formula to try and keep him full at night. We really didnt see much of a difference.
