LATE thank-you... do i say anything?
i stated, yesterday, that i FINALLY got my pictures and can send official thank-you cards for my wedding.
etiquette-ly speaking, do i mention that i know they're over-due?
if yes, HOW do i state it??

honestly I wouldn't say anything about them being late. I'd be happy to just get the thank you. I have been to so many weddings that I haven't gotten thank yous for

I agree....I wouldn't say anything about it being late. Just getting one is a plus.

I agree. IMO, there's no reason for thank you's to be THAT late. I know you were waiting for pictures, but I'd rather get a thank you in a timely manner than one with a picture. You should definitely apologize for sending them out so late.

Wedding pictures take a while. I wouldn't say anything. It's better to get a thank you than nothing at all! They would appreciate that you still remembered to thank them.

I agree....I wouldn't say anything about it being late. Just getting one is a plus.
From an ediquette standpoint a year is late, but coming from someone who got them out 9 mos after her wedding, I wouldn't say anything. It is what it is.....
You will get 100+ posts telling you they are late, blah blah blah. Get them out, speak from the heart and you will be fine.
Why add insult to injury and put they are late down on paper? When you recieve calls about how nice they are, then you can explain the situation.

I agree.
Honestly, if I received one this late it wouldn't matter to me why it was late I would just be happy to receive it.

I totally agree. I would make mention of them being late and apologize - even if it is done generically...on a typed piece of paper that you stick in everyone's card explaining why they were late. We received a late TY like this - due to photographer issues - and I thought it was thoughtful.
