Laundry Detergent

Ok, so it's time for me to start washing things for the baby and I was wondering if we have to use Dreft or some kind of baby detergent or if we can just use a regular detergent without a scent?

I am not going to use Dreft. Just a regular unscented one.

I'm using one of the dye free/perfume free ones. My mom also got me a bottle of Target's version of Dreft, which has the same ingredients, but it's cheaper.

Re: Laundry Detergent

With DS, I used Dreft at first bc it was a gift and when that bottle was finished used All Free and Clear.

Someone bought me a bottle of Dreft.

When that's done I'll use Free and Clear.

Re: Laundry Detergent

I have used dreft from day 1 and baby oxyclean.

i only do her wash once a week and that's only one load. DD's almost 10 months old and i've only gone through 3 reg 100oz bottles of dreft. DD has very sensitive skin and eczema, i am too nervous to change

Hopefully After she's 1, she'll use reg tide like Dh and I.

I used Dreft in the beginning and I hate the way it smells. I only used 3 of the small bottles. Then I was using a Free and Clear one. Now I use Baby All on all of our cloths. It was on sale at Target and it was the Huge bottle and so far it is latest so long.

Re: Laundry Detergent

We're going to use Dreft. I think if you use one that is suitable for sensitive skin, like All Free & Clear or I think Ivory has one as well, it should be fine.

Re: Laundry Detergent

I'm going to use the bottle of Dreft we got as a gift, then All Free and Clear which I believe is also good for HE machines.

Target has a brand called Method HE. The detergent is specifically designed for HE washers. This is what we bought.

They carry a baby one and a free and clear by method and they are both HE.
