Lawn maintenance

We've been doing our own lawn maintenance but its just too much work and takes up too much of our weekend time.I think I want to hire professionals but I have no idea what it would cost. Do they have to come every week or can they come 2x per month? Do I contract services on yearly basis and pay per month or is it just seasonal Spring/May? Can I get just mowing or will I have to sign up for a package spring/fall clean up and chemicals? Do they all use chemicals to kill weeds or is that extra? Just want to get a heads up before I call places for quotes. I don't want them taking advantage of me!

We pay $30 to have our lawn mowed and edged every other week. No contract. It's a very small business so we just pay cash each week. Last summer we used a bigger landscaping company that charged $32 for biweekly mowing and edging, and they mailed out a bill monthly. We have about .25 acre. The quote you get should be determined by the size of your lawn.

I pay $30 per week for weekly mowing and edging. And then they offer a host of other services that you can opt for or not. Each service has it's own price. Coming up they'll be aerating and seeding the lawn. And then we'll have them do a fall cleanup. Our guy came to look at the lawna nd then priced out all the services. We just checked off which ones we wanted and he sends us a monthly bill.

Lawn maintenance

We just found a guy who was doing it on the side. Usually DH does the lawn but before we had the lawn mower and times when the lawn mower doesn't work (hand me down lol) DH just texts him and he does it for like $20-$25. When we had him do it, he would come every 9-10 days. He also does our spring clean up for about $120.

Re: Lawn maintenance

I think the average weekly rate is between $25-$30 for just basic maintenance.

We don't have a landscaper but know several people who do.
