Leap Pad or Vtech Inno Tab - which is better for a 2 year old?

DS loves DH's Ipad, so I was thinking about getting him "one of his own" for either his 2nd bday (in 2 weeks) or Christmas. I have no idea which one would be better for him, and was looking for opinions.

I saw that they both have add on games like Jake and the Neverland Pirates (which he is obsessed with) but I am also looking for the learning aspect too (colors, numbers, letters)

We got DD who just turned 3 a leap pad last year at age 2 because her brother got one also. There are some (limited things for them at age 2). I think the minimum age I would get one is 2 1/2 based on my experience because that is when DD actually got it. She could watch the videos and feed the pet at 2. She also could do the art studio. Now at 3 she can play some of the simple games. HTH

Thank you!! Maybe I'll wait then and get one of the other more simple learning toys for now then. I don't want to have it be sitting around for now if he isn't going to understand it enough.

we got our DD last year when she was two a Fisher Price IXL and she still plays with it now at 3. Its much cheaper in price then the leap pad and VTech maybe look into that
