We have the leapfrog explorer and are very happy with it. DS is 4 and loves to play with it. Just remember to get rechargeable batteries as it eats them.
DS loves Mr. Pencil and the Cars 2 game.

DD1 is 3.5 and has the Mobigo, she loves it. She has the Toy Story game and that is her fav.

Our daughter got the MobiGo for her 3rd birthday and loves it. She loves my IPod so being able to play touching the screen made it easy for her. She loves the Dora game.

I know this was not an option but LeapFrog just came out with the LeapPad which basically a kid version of the ipad where you can download apps/games. This is what I plan to get my DS when he turns 3 in December.
