So confused...ixL vs Leapster Explorer vs Mobigo
I keep reading about all three and can't decide which to get DD. It seems they all get good reviews and are similar but the features vary just slight, which is why I am struggling to decide. I like that the iXL has a mp3 and has the art studio stuff. But the Mobigo gaming is supposed to be the best. Leapster is the one Im most familiar with but the age reccommendation is 4 and up (the other two are 3) and DD will be 3 in March. Any input? Help me!!!

i would love to know this too! dd is 2 and saw the mobigo in bestbuy two weeks ago and went crazy for it. that's all she keeps talking about since she saw it! i was looking on target online with her, and she saw it comes in pink, and wants that one now. i know she is a lil young to do alot with it right now, but i like that it has a touch screen. she loves playing with some of the kids apps on the ipad and can find her way around on a few of them, lol. the ixl looks cool because she can doodle, but the games look better to me so far on the mobigo.

DD just turned 3 and we got her the mobigo. She likes it because she can use her finger on the touch screen instead of using the pen thing. The games are cute too and good for her age. She is able to play it by herself and turn it on and set it up etc. I plan on buying her more games for Christmas. I figured when she gets a little older I will get her one of the other ones.

DS has the Mobigo and LOVES it!!! He has learned so much from it too and doesn't even realize it because he is having so much fun. I also love that they have older games and higher difficulty levels so then when he gets older, he can still play with it.

Same here! He can change the games himself and does it all himself. Gives me a few minutes by myself at home to get stuff done. He also uses it in the car. Saved my sanity!
