Leaving Jordan Every Day - Getting Harder, Not Easier

I guess I just need to vent a little about this. I am definitely "used" to being back at work and I don't think being a SAHM forever is for me. However, at this time in his life, I want to be home with him so badly. I thought it would get easier to be away from him but it's only getting harder. Once he hit six months, his personality just exploded and he's so much fun.
His babysitter is fabulous and we're really lucky, but it just stinks. I'm jealous that she gets to spend all day with him. He hasn't even really started the seperation anxiety thing yet, although the babysitter told me he gets a little sad when DH drops him off.

I know I'm preaching to the choir and you guys get it , I'm just sad.

If you're still reading, thanks for listening!

My girls are 22 mths and 9 mths. I wish I could say it gets easier, but for me, it also has only gotten harder every day.

I know exactly how you feel. I know I can't be a SAHM. I also choose to be a working mom, but I do wish I had more hours in the day with Mason. It's hard. I do try and take days off here and there to spend with him. I use my vacation and personal days as much as I can and I'm lucky to have a lot.

Now he's a toddler and doing so much everyday, but I also love seeing him when I pick him up at daycare. He's doing SOOO much there. He does songs, stories and circle time. Comes home with pictures and they give us songs they sing to him so when I sing them he knows what to do... taps his head, his belly, the floor, etc. It's so cute
