Leaving Sat and realized I don't have anything for my 12 month old for the plane...
So I realized I picked up toys for my almost 3 year old for the plane but I don't really have anything for my younger DD (who will turn 1 on the trip).
Please make some suggestions of quiet toys that are good for the airplane. Knowing her she will be awake for most of the flight. I have plenty of snacks - just no toys. She has her own seat and we are bringing a car seat if that makes a difference in your suggestions.

At that age we brought books and soft toys but really she just loved looking out the window and around the plane.

Great! I have some of those that she hasn't seen. I was just worried b.c at home she likes to play with blocks (which are hard to travel with), balls, DD#1's little people, and a couple of loud toys which don't work well on planes.

we brought some little people, my DS also loves his sister's! new board books, small elmo and mickey (he loves those two - so I found little mini-versions) I bought a couple of those wooden trains off his train set (ya know the ones that are like 2-3 in long) and he loved playing with that on his tray table!
Honestly the thing that kept him busy was snacks snacks and more snacks (which you said you have) I think my DS snacked the whole plane ride! HAHA! Hey whatever works right?!?!?!

LOL I'm desperate - she is teething so she has been slightly more cranky than normal (she is usually pretty easy going) but she likes to be busy - so I just want to make sure I have enough to occupy her. We are flying Jet blue - but DD#2 has NO interest in TV at all so I doubt that will be of any interest to her.

Honestly, the only thing that works at that age is food. I hate to say this but 12 months was definately the most difficult age for both of my kids for flying. Just have a stiff drink when you arrive! lol

any toys that light up and make sounds. I'm sure it's low enough and planes are so loud with the air you can't hear it DVD player and some shows for the girls to watch. We had Yo Gabba Gabba stuffed animal

Unfortunately she isn't a big eater so snacks will only keep her occupied for a very short time.

Not sure if they sell them in store (or if you can ship to store in time), but my DD loves these things....
They are these foam mats with little pegs that you stick in the holes...hey also have plastic ones that are similar...

I figured out how much she likes these when we went to Cracker Barrel and she loves those peg games they have

I always bring a few sheets of stickers - easy to pack and its amazing how long stickers will occupy them
Also, I love the Fisher Price Travel Sized Doodle Pro, I got it at Target, but here is the link to the Toys R Us site, its $9.99: Doodle Pro
When DD was around 1 - 1 1/2 I would draw things and she'd guess what they were, now at almost 2, she draws herself.
