Re: Left over cocktail sauce
Make surf and turf burgers.
Make a regular burger, grill some shrimp and put the shrimp and cocktail sauce on it.
Or just use the cocktail sauce instead of ketchup on a regular burger.

Re: Left over cocktail sauce
I like to dip lettuce and crackers in it!
But I hear it is good on burgers and to make a shrimp stir-fry sauce.

Sounds good - but what else goes with it? What veges?
Any thoughts of maybe using it as a BBQ sauce and baste it on some grilled shrimp? ... maybe a spicy tomatoe/shrimp soup???? I need a little more to go on... PLEASE!

Re: Left over cocktail sauce
this might seem gross to some. But I used to work at a seafood place in maine for 8 years while growing up. One of my favorite snacks while working was taking the little oyster crackers and dipping them in cocktail or tarter sauce. You could try doing that. I have never actually done it while not working there. lol. So i dunno if I was just super hungry or if it really did taste good.

Re: Left over cocktail sauce
Shrimp Stirfry veggies can be red and green peppers, sugar snap peas, broccoli and asian cabbage. then you just loosen the sauce a bit. I have made it with a cocktail sauce before and my friends who made a similar dish they like to make noodles like spaghetti and serve it over that. At first I was so grossed out- cocktail sauce and stir-fry over spaghetti?? Well of course I had to eat it to be polite as I was a guest and... it was surprisingly really good!!
Also you were mentioning a BBQ sauce or something... well the neelys from food network have a recipe for BBQ shrimp with cocktail sauce. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/neelys/bbq-shrimp-with-cocktail-sauce-recipe/index.html I dont know if its anything like what you had in mind...

This is delicious and customary at least in my home
dipping oyster crackers in it is my favorite way and my dad loves to mix cocktail sauce together with tarter sauce and eat that with fried clams but I dont like the combination.
