Legging question
How long does a top need to be to wear with leggings? I bought several American Eagle "jegging tees" and I'm not sure if they're long enough to be considered appropriate to go out in public.

I say they are plenty long enough. I wore one with jeggings the other day and it looked great. My butt was fully covered.
On a side note: I LOVE those tees. SOOO comfy.

The bottom of the shirt goes to the bottom of my butt cheeks, but the sides are higher and it goes down in the front again. I can't figure out how to post a pic. But in your opinion, does that sound okay? I never know and first time wearing leggings.

I just looked at the tee on the website, I think it's probably fine, looks like butt is covered! Again, jmho, i'm more comfotable with my butt covered. Cute tee!

It sounds fine! Honestly, I worry more about the front being sufficiently covered than the butt- camel toe is NOT attractive. But I DO have a nice butt... and I'm not afraid to say it!

A top that hits at upper thigh is the shortest length I wear with leggings. Target length is mid thigh.
I am petite (5'2 110lbs) but any shorter than upper thigh I feel is not appropriate for my age.
