Omg! These look heavenly. I just sent the link to my SIL and told her she can bake these for my birthday. She is the baker of the family. Every time I try it comes out like crap. One time I misread the amount of salt. I was looking at it fast and put the same amount of salt as sugar in the recipe. DH was like didn’t you think that was weird? I said, no, I’m not a baker. Maybe there was a reason?! What do I know? lol. Oh and another time, I completely forgot to turn on the oven. Yes, I put it in a stone cold oven and set the timer. I’m such a dumbass. I’ve banned myself from baking before I kill someone.

These look amazing. DH hates lemon though and I feel like eating an entire tray of brownies yourself is the equivalent of drinking alone. Socially unacceptable, but so very tempting.

That is what is stopping me from making them.
DH doesn't eat sugar anymore,  , and I don't think DD would eat these, she is very picky.
So it would be me, shoveling the whole tray down my gullet.
Not that I'm above it, but I need to at least TRY to maintain some decorum.
Maybe next time I'm having company over I will make them though!

I wish I liked lemon; they look delicious. And Lemon is my nickname (long story, but I’ve had it since I was 6).
I might try this for the SO, though.

i've done what you describe but with cooking not baking. i try not to cook too much because i set stuff on fire. i like the salt=sugar amount, that's a classic!

make them for yourself. Cut them up and freeze half, and take them out one by one.
