Lesson learned... why you shouldn't read/reply to text messages while sitting next to your DC taking a bath...
So last night I was sitting in the bathroom with DS while giving him a bath. He was happily playing with his bath toys so as I sat right next to the tub I decided to send a quick text message while I was remembering what I wanted to send to someone.
I ended up going back and forth in text a few times. DS was fine, happy and playing.
When I looked back at him in the tub I found that he was now happily playing in the bath with water, toys and POOP!!!
Now this was the 3rd time DS has pooped in the bathtub, but every time he has done it in the past, I have seen it happen and was able to get him out immediately. Let's just say the delay in my seeing it made for a very messy cleanup!
Lesson learned... no texting and bathing allowed for me ever again!
ETA: Needless to say DS no longer has any bath toys to play with until I go out and get him some new ones!
