I'll show you mine so you can laugh 
We're not redoing it for a while. Other than the countertops that is. We're replacing them soon. For now, when people come over, I tell them we imported them from Italy and watch their faces while they TRY to say something nice

thanks Bklyngirl, MrsF519, & stinkysmom80!!!! that kitchen renovation almost had DH & I divorced before we even made it down the aisle!! so at least we can enjoy it now that we're married!

It is truly beautiful. i think I would actually like cooking in your kitchen.

Thanks! I am very psyched about the cabinets AND we have a pantry. I have lived in apartments with very little cabinet space for the past 10 years so I can truly appreciate the room to finally put every thing away.  I'll be posting alot soon for ideas on colors. I need a TON of help!!!  This is all so new to me. Along with the small cabinets, I was never allowed to paint in my apartments.

I feel your pain. We are in formica he11! We had "brick" paneling above the cabinets and as a backsplash that we took down and we also painted the "wood" paneling that went up half of the wall to white. Made a huge difference. We considered painting the cabinets as well, but decided we will just wait to rip them all out. I fantasize about that day!
