Let me tell you about my day...
Its was about 8am... A co-worker, and myself were engaged in
conversation with a parent when I head the loudest 2 bangs I ever
heard; which was accomapined by a "shake" and the school alarms
sounding...
I ran down the hall to see the fire extinguisher laying on the floor
about 20ft from where it had been hanging on the wall, and as I got
closer I come to find the following scene...
Someone drove their car into the school...I thought that I had been
"trained" for everything- APPARENTLY I was wrong...
Luckily, NO ONE WAS HURT! Not even the driver...Early mornings we do
"breakfast care" at another end of the building so no children,
teachers or parents where at this end of the building... The lights
hadn't even been turned on yet..
I don't know what was worse seeing this and realizing all the things
that could've been OR telling the owner of the school her LIFE SAVINGS
had a car plow through it...
In the end we were so lucky in so many ways, and its just a building
that can be fixed- We could've not fixed/replaced someones life...
Yes, Im exhausted, YES I'm glad that day is over, and YES I couldn't be
more thankful I have the day off tomorrow.

Yes, apparently the were turning to park, and because of the rain skid...
The driver paniced from the skid and went to slam the brakes but instead slammed the gas...

I have so many more pics (but they take forever to load) and to be honest it looked so much worse in person...
I cleaned up previously to the pics, and the construction to repair started immediately, so it looks 1000x's better already...
Def a scary day though...
