letrozole/clomid with timed BD

Another ? from a desperate TTcer Has anyone done letrozole/clomid with timed BD and had it work.......I had 2 early mc's and am now seeing RE. I had a few issues, none of whcih are getting PG so this month I opted for Letrozole with trigger shot and timed BD. I had 3 good follies....is there any hope for me?

Thanks ladies and sorry for intruding. I'm just desperate and this 2ww is alrady killing me and I still have 10 more days to go

First of all lots of to you.

I was not very vocal about this but with my age (34 soon to be 35) and trying since June of 07, we did timed BD with clomid in February. That was all it took for me. I finally got PG. I had two good follies. We might have over done it with the BD - but it worked. We did the night of the trigger and everynight past that for about 5 nights.

I tested at 10DPO and got a BFN and then again at 12DPO and got my BFP.

Hope you get yours too!

ETA: Yikes! I wasn't trying that long. I was trying since May/June of 08. It sure felt long, but I was just under a year.......I guess baby brain got me.

If I remember correctly, I did the trigger late evening on wednesday and counted Friday as the day I O'd. Which may be completely incorrect - but for some reason, that's what I did. Thinking about it now - I probably should have counted thursday as the day I o'd.

There is definitely hope for you!!!

yup, worked for me clomid / trigger shot/ timed bd the first month

per my doctor we did it the night of my trigger shot, the next morning and night and once more the next day

so once on friday night (trigger day), sat am, sat pm, and sunday am

I did timed bd on clomid with DD and conceived 2nd try.

you know this time around I did IUIs and we BD the second night- but you know that really IUIs aren't THAT much better than timed BD anyway- this past time around I had 2 follies- so I think you are in good shape with the 3...

I think your chances will be upped more b/c of the other stuff you're doing- Lovenox, etc. I think the Lovenox is what made the difference for us this past cycle.

We BD'd day of trigger (even tho dr didn't say to) and the 2 days following the shot. So I think we covered our bases. I guess I will go with the day after the trigger as the day I ovulated. Which makes me 3dpo. Think I can test, lol!!

ladies I just can't thank you enough. Not only for sharing your stories with me but more importantly for giving me hope. I'm sure I will be re-reading your words many times in the next 2 weeks.
