they had it without me. we had people coming from out of town so it was too had to re schedule. we knew we were having a boy. i have video of the shower and my pregnant sister was my stand in.....she looks a lot like me so i was kinda like i was there

I have this dress, which isn't maternity- but it was sort of baggy on me to begin with.
I will see as it gets closer if it will work, otherwise I will prob just buy something from Motherhood. My shower is March 10th so I have a bit of time yet.

I'm loving all these dresses! They're all so pretty!
Let me ask you girls, though, what shoes are you thinking for them (or wore if it passed already)???? I'm a stiletto girl and am seriously contemplating wearing a pair that matches my dress perfectly as long as my feet/legs haven't started to swell by next month. I would bring a pair of flats with me in case though.

I think thats a good idea. I would go for what you would normally wear and just bring an alternative in case. Its not like you will be on your feet the whole time anyway...

Seriously!! The shoes I want to wear are closed toe which is good for Febuary, but I don't own stockings - I never ever wear them and am not about to start at 7 months pregnant. Which now brings to the question about self tanning creams.....are we allowed? I'm thinking like the neutrogena gradual color moisturizing one. And just on my legs. Or is this a no-no for us??

I am not sure but truthfully I would think at this point in our pregnancies it wouldn't hurt the baby. However, I am not sure how much I like he way slf tanners have looked on me in the past. I would have to research which ones aren't orange looking.

For my shower with DD I wore an Indian outfit! I loved it! It was comfortable and everyone loved rubbing my belly!
I may not have a shower for this baby, but if I do, I will wear an Indian outfit again.

To be honest Im not wearing a dress. Something nice and casual. My shower will be simple and we are trying to find a place to live right now so its not on my list of things to do. Plus we need every penny and cant see spending money on a dress to wear once.
