Let's talk about this Chelsea Clinton wedding....
am I the only one that thinks "whoop-de-doo  " that this girl is getting married? I mean, I am all for a beautiful bride having a lovely wedding day, but I have heard this called the "wedding of the decade" as well as "America's royal wedding". Really?!?
Is it me, or does the media hype this up to more than anyone really cares about? Or am I the only one that feels this way??

I only think its slightly interesting because the awesome photographer we used for my daughters sweet 16 is Chelsea's photographer. Other than that I really dont care

I think it's the media creating all the buzz ... not her. Personally, I really feel for her, having spent her most awkward years in the nation's spotlight and having to endure many awful things being said about her. I think she's grown into a lovely, gracious woman, and I hope she has a gorgeous wedding. She deserves it!

She never asked her father to become president. She lived her life as discreetly as possible and never asked for extra attention. She should enjoy her day just like any other bride.
Personally, I am left to wonder who will conduct the ceremony. I am going to guess a justic of the peace or a minister as very few rabbis (if any - even of the Reform movement) would conduct a wedding on the Sabbath - but that is just me. There had been buzz as to whether or not she would convert because her fiance is Jewish.

I had to turn off the news this morning because it was so annoying! CBS kept calling it a "chelsea morning" i know it was after the joplin song - but after a while it was irritating! Every segment they had was related to this wedding I dont care i care about it as much as i care what happens to lindsey lohan!

I haven't heard much about it, but maybe I haven't been looking. They did say on the news that this is more in the news b/c she grew up during the presidency - I guess kind of like JFK jr and caroline kennedy.
other children haven't been a big deal (I guess like the bush twins.)

Nope, it's huge news out here in CA too. I think it's being blown way out of proportion by the media... did Jenna Bush maybe keep the location or date a secret? Because you're right, I don't remember as much media surrounding that wedding either.

I got my own answer. It was a Reform rabbi.
Then again, I was married by a Reform rabbi and he wouldn't marry us until the sun went down. I guess every rabbi is different.
