This show is really good. I am surprised though how they wrapped everything up.

OMG.... that was a painful episode to watch.
I definitely wasn't expecting that character to be killed off. So sad.
DH somehow stayed on the couch with me to watch it last night along with Greys... (he normally hates the shows, but he makes fun of it as he watches and it is usually funny to watch with him)... and DH was crying as we watched Private Practice.  Just super emotional. I think it hits us harder now that we have kids.

It was sooo sad. I had read a spoiler that someone was going to die, and it speculated that it was that character. I really liked him.

It was a really good episode....but really weird in the same way...
I thought for sure it was going to be Sheldon when he found out that Cooper proposed.....I thought it was going to do himself in or something.....
I can't believe that Pete was okay with Addison kicking him to the curb for Sam.....I mean yeah it was bound to happen....but come on like that???......I am glad that Sam finally got his woman....it was about freaken time!!
Poor Naomi......she is such a confused person........

OMG, it was such an emotional episode. I remember someone mentioning on this board that someone was going to be killed off, so when Dell started talking to Betsy, I realized it was him and I was crying from then on. I just feel so bad for her!
and I LOVE Cooper and Charlotte together. The end was sweet

It was so so so good!
I couldnt stop crying!
Im so sad he wont be returning!
And Pete letting her go....Addison knew he still loved Violet, so it made sense.
I really got into this show and love it!
So happy in the end after my tears there was some happiness!

Hahaha Me too! I liked Dell! I really wish they didn't kill him off. I really hate Addison and Sam together. It's so wrong and I just feel bad for Naomi (Again...it's just a TV show LOL). I really love Addison's character though. I wish they would stop making her out to be so pathetic when it comes to her love life.
And I felt bad for Sheldon too. I wish they would cut that poor b astard a break.

I was sobbing when Betsy was hitting Pete. It was so sad. I feel bad for Sheldon, he always loses out on the girl but I do like his character. They should have him and Addison get together.

And once again, we are alike! I was saying the same thing OUT LOUD!!! I was HYSTERICAL.
I too love Cooper and Charlotte together...
But does anyone hope that Sheldon finds true love?!?!? I feel so sorry for him. He's so sweet.

I was crying during Dell's speech to his daughter. His poor daughter, she has been through so much. It also made me cry when he said "I got accepted to med school" even though he knew he wasn't going to make it. When Betsy was hitting Pete, I was sobbing. That episode killed me emotionally. The only thing I didn't like was the Pete / Addison / Voilet / Sam thing. I don't see the attraction between Sam and Addison and I think she should be happy with Pete! I wouldn't have walked away like that!

I love Cooper and Charlotte together. Their chemistry is awesome!
I'm happy Pete and Violet are together as well...I like them together and I like that they're happy...
I am probably in the minorty here, but I love Addison and Sam. That's probably mostly because it means more 1/2 naked Taye Diggs though!!!!  
I do hope Sheldon finds someone and I kind of want Naomi and Gabriel get together....

I kind of had a feeling Dell was going to be killed off - he wasn't on the show very much this season. I wonder if the guy who plays him is going to do something else.
I was surprised that they didn't leave us hanging about anything after last season's finale!!

OMG! Me too! And TBH, I have only watched a few episodes. A coworker had the tv on for background noise last night and I started watching it. I was friggin hysterical and could barely breathe by the end of the show. That poor little girl! I can't wait for next season now!

I'll be honest I was not imoressed with it for a finale. In fact i'm sorta p*ssed that it was that person that died since they released a statement they were leaving the show. Normally Shonda doesn't let that stuff slip and so I was convinced it was somebody else. I felt like it was a SERIES finally and not a SEASON finale. It did not leave me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and honestly makes me not to interested in the series premiere. I hate when they do this.
On a side note why are all the finales this year ending in a death?

I agree, I was disappointed. I was expecting a huge shocking death and I wasn't that shocked by Dell's death. I did read that he was leaving the show.

OK I read this thread before I saw it on DVR and I still cried like a baby. Having lost both of my parents within a very short period of time, it conjured up a great deal of pain - even at my age. If Abby weren't sleeping, I'd have scooped her up, held her close and never let her go.

I LOVE Cooper & Charlotte - I thought it was sooo cute when she threw the ring back at him to propose the next night and I LOVE Sam & Addison!
