levaquin 750 mg
My dr. prescribed my Levaquikn 750 mg for the next 10 days. I have been sick with sinus issues for the past month and a half and was one z pack already and it did nothing. I decided to look it up online, which was mistake, there seems to be some horrible side effects. Did anyone have any experinces with it?

i wouldn't worry too much. its a pretty benign antibiotic. any antibiotic can cause you some nausea, diarrhea or yeast infection. just think how you'll feel once that sinus problem is gone!!

actually my DH had a terrible reaction to it
his feet swelled
he was out of his mind- thinking the computer mouse was a phone-

I was on the highest dose of it for a long time when I had my kidney infection and then again following the surgery on my kidney...
When I first started each course of it, I had SEVERE migraines from it. Once I hit day 3, I was fine and I had no side effects at all. It was just when it was introduced to my body each time, I would get migraines. So I always took it with Motrin.

i actually have a huge sensitivity to many meds and i loved when i was on levaquin i felt so much better and it didnt bother my stomach or give me side affects at all.. plus it cleared up my sinus infection

I wouldn't worry too much..I have taken it and my clients have as well..I have never seen anyone with a problem with it

I have taken this many times for bronchitis/pneumonia, and the biggest complaint I had was that it left a metallic taste in my mouth, other than that, no side effects.
I think reading the side effects can make someone crazy because they have to list every single thing that happened to people who took the med during the trial whether or not it is related to the drug. The main thing to watch out for is signs of an allergic reaction like swelling of the face, rash, difficulty breathing.
