Levittown/ N. Wantagh Mommies that use the pools!

Hi! So we just went and picked up our pool pass yesterday! I am so excited to use it! We had no idea that it was included in our taxes. We have an inground pool in our yard so we never had the need to even look into it, but made the decision at the end of last summer to fill it in....it needs alot of work and it costs too much to keep up with. ANYHOW....

What do you guys bring for your LO's? My DS is 12 months and I am trying to figure out what to bring. Ofcourse I know the usuals...towel, sunblock etc. But, do you bring a pack and play with an umbrella or something? We are going to the pool on Water Ln and when we went over there to check it out and there is really no shady areas. I also noticed that noone really had chairs or baby equipment....are they not allowed?????

Is this for the Levittown poos of Wantagh Park pools? I'm dying to get a pool pass for Wantagh Park I heard it's great

Its just for the Levittown pools I think. No, I am sure it is. I think that you might have to get a TOH pass for the Wantagh pool. I was looking into them and they are like $230 or something for the season for a family....i was pleasantly surprised about the Levittown pools being part of the tax program!

We love the one we go to, but the down fall of Levittown pools is the amount of rules. No swimmies, not toys, strollers are only allowed in a special area etc. The pool we go to has a lot of shade around the pool so we usually just put down some towels, chairs and the stroller.

We went for the first time today. It was great! I had DS and the LO I babysit for who is 6w older than DS so thank God DH was there to help! We had a great time. I saw there were lots of rules posted, but honestly didn't have a chance to stand there and read them. I just followed everyone else's lead. I am sure I will learn! I am new to this Mommy thing and I noticed alot of mommies meeting up....hope I can meet some too!

We love the pools. Unfortunately the ones we go to, don't have any shade. We usually bring towels, change of clothes, sunscreen and if we bring sandwiches, we will sit outside and eat :)
