It doesn't work that way.
Mets and Yankees fine, giants and jets fine. They play in different conferences.
Islanders and rangers are in direct competition with each other all year. They're in the same division.
There isn't "rooting for ny" in hockey.

Bruins. We have some ass kicking to do for last year.
Either way, they are going to need to BRING IT. Make use of those power-plays for godsakes, they need to keep pressure on the goalies and they need to play as a team. There were so many times in the last series I found myself yelling "where is everyone, someone get down there NOW" and I felt like they werent really just ready for the season to be over. Its been amazing to watch them turn this around, I thought for sure we were done, they just looked done. And then.........hopefully we can keep it moving forward.

He is HOT! He was amazing last night though, seriously. He was looking for the whistle and was pissed and he stayed ON his game. He had a barrage of shots and stayed focused.

DH is a diehard Isles fan and refuses to root for the Rangers and vice versa. Although I hate other teams (NJ, Flyers, Pens) much more than i hate the Isles so if the Isles ever play those teams, I don't root for the Isles but I don't root against them either. I'm indifferent in those cases lol. I have to say though, I did pull for the Isles against the Pens in last year's playoffs b/c I hate Crybaby with the fire of a thousand suns.

Never ever ever would I root for the fishsticks, except like you said last year b/c of the Crybaby..... i literally laughed out loud when i read the line "with the fire of a thousands suns"
Ohh i also would never root for the Devils.... i despise Brodeur....come to think of it, i would love to know what Brodeur is thinking now that the Rangers madeit this far?!

Same. I'm a serious hockey fan but only casually follow the other sports. Football I just can't get into.

I agree. I always see Montreal as a threat for some reason. They always struggle for a win in their arena. Both tesms still needed 7 games to get to the conference finals but let's cross our fingers.

Completely agree! They haven't been a contender in a long time, I think that they will be very aggressive, but I'm still not as nervous as I would have been had Boston made it!
