LI IVF trigger question
I'm doing a fresh cycle. The nurse told me this morning that I will probably trigger tonight and someone will call me. I don't have a voice mail message and no call yet. Wondering how long I should wait to call them b/c I know they close at 4pm. TIA
UPDATE: A nurse just called me and told me the time. Getting nervous b/c the end is near. Thanks for all your responses!

Re: LI IVF trigger question
You will have a message left on the vm between 4 and 5...if you have questions you can call the on-call nurse. Good luck!

Re: LI IVF trigger question
They'll leave a message. You usually don't trigger until late at night. Once I had to get up at 1am and the second time it was around 11.

It's the HCG shot. It "triggers" or releases the egg(s) from the follicles. When doing IVF it needs to be done at an exact time and then 34-36 hours later you got in for egg retrieval. Trigger shots are also done w/ IUIs to coordinate your insemination. HTH.
