Many times, what we dislike in others is a reflection of ourselves.
Don't try to change people. Change your own mind instead.
True love means accepting the good and especially the bad.
Hard times show you who your friends are.
Compromising means putting down your pride for the greater good. Even if you know you're right.
Living with someone before you marry them is a good way to learn these lessons before you make a lifetime committment.
No one can MAKE you mad. You choose to be mad and allow that emotion.
You cannot control other people's actions but you can control your REaction.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Figure out who you are and be you. Trying to be anyone else is just like trying to fool yourself.
Take joy in the smaller things in life. Then you can find joy in every day.
It's good to have goals but don't hang all your hopes and fears on them. What happens in between the goals is more important.
