Lifting weights- upper body/arms
For those who lift weights.....
Can you share the upper body exercises that you do using free weights? Especially for building muscle and toning the arms? I have 5lb and 8lb dumbells at home. I also have a 10lb Kettlebell.
Thanks!

I don't do free weights that often but I usually find some good ideas in different magazines or online.
If you google it a bunch come including this one: http://www.sport-fitness-advisor.com/dumbbellexercises.html
Some have you tube videos too.

Bicep curls:hammer, 21s,regular grip Triceps: overhead extension, kick backs, skull crushers Shoulders: lat raises, shoulder press, upright rows I'd also add push ups.
Keep in mind to build muscle you need to have a slight caloric surplus and be lifting heavy heavy!

Thanks! I was hoping you would respond.
I also found 10lb weights that I didn't realized I had. Do you think that is good to start out with? How many reps/set should I do off each exercise?

I lift til I can't lift anymore lol. If I do 4 work sets, I might start out by doing 2 warm up sets with light weight. Then I will do a set of 15-20, then maybe 12-15, then 10-12 and then 6-8.
I try to switch things up and do tons of supersets too!
