linen closet OR double sink
if you only had room for one in your bathroom, which would you choose? a double sink OR a single sink with a linen closet?
this is my only full bathroom, i just have a half bathroom downstairs. but i do have a closet just outside the full bathroom in the hallway, that i have been using as a linen closet.
i'm torn. i want both

Linen but only bc DH schedule is about an hour ahead of mine, and we dont get ready at the same time, fighting for sink space.

I feel like more buyers are looking for the double sink when they shop- I think that would be better for resale

IMO, unless the bathroom is of considerable size, I find double sinks to be a waste.
I would rather have a linen closet or a large vanity top.

I love my husband, but I never felt the need to brush my teeth in unison with him.
Some people find the double sink useful for kids, if you are considering resale value, but I'd personally pefer a linen closet. Even if you had space in the hall, there are always things to be stored.

agree....no desire to clean both and i'd rather have the storage!

DH very rarely brush our teeth at the same time-we have double sinks and I would trade for a linen closet.

I'm going to say linen closet. But you did say that you already have a linen closet in the hall. You have to figure what is best for you and your home of course. If you and DH get ready at the same time, then get the double sink, otherwise I know I can always use more storage area.

The double sink. Before we had a bathroom with a double sink, my DH and I fought over the sink all the time! Also, with a double sink, you'll have a much bigger vanity and a second medicine cabinet—both will help with storage issues.

i love our double sink BUT i would go with a linen closet. we dont have one and towels/linens take up a TON of space in our walk-in closet
