Double... if i had to do it over again, I would do something like the PP - a sink and 1/4.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

I just have one large sink.

I have been talking with some people about this, and i have found, people who grew up with a double sink or have one now, really love it, because they keep one side for dirty and one side for clean

Once my dishes are clean i put them away i never keep them in my sink, so one big one works great for me.

Also i have a few really large frying pans and i wash them by hand and if i had a double sink it would really difficult
everything else i pile up in the sink dirty and then i load the dishwasher

Single sink. I never liked a double sink - I never feel like there is enough room to wash anything.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

We had a double and had to change to a single. It was just very hard to wash big pots and things.

Same here. I have an oversized single and when we remodel plan to do the same.

Single. We didnt have a choice, it was already there. But i wouldnt change it, because the pots and cutting boards barely fit in there now.

Double, I love it. One side is a bit smaller and has the garbage disposal and the other side is bigger so I throw the big pots and stuff in there to be washed.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

We have a double with one side being the garbage disposal. I've always had a single sink so it's been taking some time to get used to.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

I have a single sink. While it is nice I like the look and it's deep and space savor, it's really not as convenient when cooking between the dirty dishes and the food prep. I would prefer a double sink.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

we have a single- I always had a double before this- am starting to like it though- because my dish rack is on the counter- it forces me to put them away faster than I would with the double sink

Single, you can fit more in the sink, and I don't keep my clean dishes out anyway, they go away once they are clean.

double - one side has the disposal.

we don't use them for "dirty/clean" - but I find it easier to have the 2 sinks when i'm cooking... i can put the dirty things on the side without the disposal and still have the other side free for washing veggies, using the disposal, etc.

Double and I hate it. We got it for free so, I didn't want to spend money on something we didn't have to, but if I were to do it again I would definitely get a single.

Not crazy about my double either... I think next time I'll have or go with a single sink.

Re: About your Kitchen Sink... Is it a Single or Double

We redid our kitchen and I chose one big, really deep one. I have some big pots and pans and need the space and depth. A double sink would be too small for me. I also never leave dishes in the sink, I mean never! It would be silly to take up the counter space in MY situation, since I would never leave a "dirty" and "clean" side. HTH It really is what will fit your lifestyle!

Agree. I know people who use the double as a drying rack. I just feel the single is bigger
