LIRR: Baldwin and Lynbrook Parking Question

Before I trek out to the ticket counters at each station..I thought someone here might know the answer to this:

Do you have to pay for parking at either of these stations or do you need a permit?

Do you live in Lynbrook? If you do then you can get a permit and it is arounf $100 for the year. Not bad..

I will see if I can get you the monthly rate if you are not a Lynbrook resident.

I live in the unincorporated village of lynbrook, so I am not able to get a parking permit. For 3 years I parked under the tressle.. it's either $60 or $65 a month, but then I had a HUGE fight with the guy who ownes the lot, so now I park in metered parking... the number of tickets I've gotten in that town is a JOKE... they literally have ticket cop people checking meters at 5:59, if you're expired, you're SOL. And they only take quarters, nothing smaller... I refuse to put a quarter in the meter for 15 minutes.... smart move by me.. I'd rather pay the $20 ticket..lol infact I just mailed one in when I went to lunch... Chat Icon
