LIRR Help. Wantagh/Seaford Parking
My DH is starting a new job in the City. He will be taking the train from Seaford or Wantagh at 7am. Can you let me know what the parking is like? Is one town better then the other? Our permit allows for parking in either. Is there a time that the lots get full? TIA!

Re: LIRR Help. Wantagh/Seaford Parking
DH takes the train from Seaford, and I used to. I think the Seaford parking is better. There's the 2 small parking lots right in front of the platform. There's also the big parking lot to the west of the platform. I've gotten there as late as 9am and still been able to find close parking!

Thank you! I was sure both were full by 7am. He said he would walk across sunrise (we live just south of sunrise), but drivers are CRAZY on sunrise highway!

Definitely Seaford. Wantagh has very little parking, and Seaford has a huge lot. DH always parked in Seaford when he lived in Wantagh, and his father and sister still do. Your DH will be fine there.

Seaford!
When I need to take the LIRR this is where I park and there is always a TON of parking in the Western lot.
It's a pain because you need to walk a bit but I've never had an issue getting a spot ever.

I really hope so! I saw my Dr. yesterday, and not much is going on. She thinks it's likely that I'll end up being induced next week.

Re: LIRR Help. Wantagh/Seaford Parking
I usually take an 8ish train and I never have a problem with the Seaford lot.
