LIRR LADIES
DID ALL THE CHANGES CHANGE TRACKS YESTERDAY? I WAS NOT AT WORK BUT I HEARD THAT ALL TRACKS FOR TRAINS WERE GOING TO BE CHANGING.

The reason they gave why they changed the tracks was to use the wider platforms more (18-21) to avoid the crowding.
There were supposed to be helpers in Penn to give you the track info last night and through the week....try and find one of them...and ask them what track your train is on.
I took a later train that my usual, so Penn wasnt crowded then

Yeah, but which train do you take?? The 5:23 leaves from track 16 now.

what line are you on?
I "think" they did some changes to the busier lines....like Babylon and Ronkonkoma....

I'll take your 16 and raise you a track 21 train move to track 17
Although I hate that 16 is soooooooooooooo long -- I feel like I am walking to Jersey when I take the train from that track.

Glad I was out sick yesterday. They did pass out notices about the track changes. At minimum, I appreciate them trying to keep us informed.
Poor DH. He'll have to craft a new schedule with track numbers.

I usually take the 5:13 or the 5:40 pm train to Babylon.

The train I took home (Huntington line) on Friday afternoon announced what the new track would be starting Monday. That was helpful.
