Hitting people and dumping coffee on their heads is over the line. However, I strongly support non-violent efforts to get people on the LIRR to be more considerate of each other.

Totally agree. Sometimes when people are talking loudly on their phones the whole ride, I just want to go sit next to them, get on my phone, and talk even louder than them, just to annoy them.

This guy is a loud-mouthed bully. He only seems to pick on people weaker than him, usually, women. I know how obnoxious people can be, but, to take it to the extremes that he does is outrageous. Some day he will pick on the wrong person and get his @ss beaten. I'd pay to see that.

I am all for encouraging common courtesy and compassion for your fellow commuters, but this guy is just insane.

I take the LB train now, but I don't recall ever seeing him. (I get on at Centre Ave...)
I'm actually glad today is my last day commuting on this line. I don't want to have a run in with this psycho!

I asked DH to watch out for this guy. 
Kara, you and my husband could have been commuting together daily. That's so funny. I always told him to call me from Centre Ave so I could get in the car and go pick him up.
