LIRR Question/Location
I'm planning a baby shower for my sister at the George Washington Manor and she has a number of friends that need to take the train from the city. Since I don't live in LI.. can anyone tell me if there is a LIRR station near there?

Yes, the Roslyn train station -- Oyster Bay line.
It's not the best line in terms of frequency of trains, especially on the weekend.
If someone could go pick up some of the girls in Port Washington, that'd be a better train option. Or they could take a short cab ride.

Actually - if they take the Port Washington line, it is closer if they get off in Manhasset rather than going all the way to Port Washington.
