DH and i used to use the seaford station because the parking was better than in hicksville or wantagh, but there are more trains that run in and out of the hicksville station.

I grew up in Levittown & my dad use to work in Woodside...He ALWAYS went to either Seaford (more parking) or Wantagh...He never went to Hicksville...Remember that Hicksville is a Town of Oyster Bay so it is a different parking sticker

I didn't think the Seaford line stopped in Woodside. Where in woodside does it leave you?

It leaves you right in the LIRR Station in Woodside...Seaford is all part of the Babylon branch so there are trains that stop in Woodside (I use to take one every weekend to see my grandparents). There are times you have to change in Jamaica for the Woodside train but most times you don't...

I typically use Wantagh. I have also taken Bethpage/Hicksville. If I am coming home from a night in the city I take either Wantagh or Hicksville, whichever gets me home faster.

depending on where in Levittown...If you are more north of Hempstead tpk I would say Hicksville is closer..If you are south of the turnpike then either Bellmore, Wantagh, or Seaford...

Hicksville has the most trains. It's a LIRR hub. You have to get there super early in the am to get parking.
Bethpage is on the Ronkonkoma line as well but not as many trains. Either Hicksville or Bethpage you will need a Town of Oyster Bay Parking pass. You have to live in the town of Oyster Bay. You have to show your registration and a utility bill with an address in the town of Oyster Bay. There is some metered parking but there is a time limit.
Seaford, Wantagh or Bellmore could be a good alternative. Wantagh having more trains including an express. Not sure if Bellmore still does. No parking restrictions.
I've been everywhere..taken all lines. The Babylon Branch south shore lines are the best.
Where in Levittown is the apt?
