LIRR Ticket Question
Thought I'd ask in case anyone knew...
I have a monthly pass Zone 7 to Zone 1. On Friday I need to go to Zone 3 from Penn. Is it possible to use my ticket since I've paid for a higher fare or should I just get a one way to Bayside? Not sure how it works.

You can use your ticket for that ride. As long as the station you are traveling to is equal or lower to the zone your ticket is for, you are fine.

agreed! Your monthly ticket will take you anywhere in your fare zone or in a closer fare zone.
