List of baby "supplies" to have on hand for baby's arrival?
Anyone have a thread or link to a list of supplies you absolutely MUST have on hand when baby arrives? (Tilde - I know that file cabinet has to have something!)
Not talking gear...but baby wash, lotion, creams, powders, etc. Baby toiletries?
Please help the clueless!

I don't have an answer for you, but I would love to hear what BTDT moms have to say.

I was told NOT to clip their nails until they are at least 2 months old. Until then, they need the little mittens so they don't scratch themselves, sorry, but HTH!!! Also, I second the baby vaseline!!!

Baby emery boards were great for the first month, but it takes about a week for their nails to get hard enough to use them. I was told it was okay to clip after the first month.

Great list! Wanted to mention that for all the strollers, high chairs, and outfits I had, I did not have any basic white onesies with the little turn over sleeves/mittens on them. This is what they used in the hospital and we were so nervous when we got her home, all we wanted to do was do exactly what they did at the hospital, except we did not have them at the house. We had to send my Mom out to buy them and it was a good thing she did becuase DD was scratching at her face for about two weeks when she cried. We had the mittens but they kept falling off.
Those little onesies were lifesavers!
