The What to Expect book lists the basics. BRU will give you a list of the must-haves. I used it as a guide, just go to BRU, walk around and have fun looking at everything!!! You DON'T need a diaper genie or a wipe warmer!!!

I guess it goes to show how different people are... i love my wipe warmers and diaper genies!  I would also recommend a bouncer, exersaucer, your choice of infant carrier and carseat, stroller, pack n play. The basics (bottles, layette stuff) was difficult for me... go take a walk around BBB or BRU and look at their recommended lists. You won't need EVERYTHING that they recommend but at least you'll be able to rule out certian things. Good luck!
