little bit of a TMI - when I clean DD's nose

(if I see there is a big booger in there I use the saline spray and the aspirator) I have noticed that the boogers have little blood in them(more like dried blood)not always, just sometimes- very rarely. Like tonight. I don't know why , but I just get so worried every time I see that.
What could be causing this?
I'm thinking of calling the ped but just wanted to see if anyone's DC has the same thing.
Thank you
PS
Just for the info
DD is 20 mos and she never has nose bleeds or anything and hasn't had a cold I think since August or September.

The nose is very rich with blood vessels. I always pull bloody boogs out of Mads' nose over the winter.

my mother's friend's 4 yr old son just died of brain tumor, and the first symptoms were bloody boogers and nose bleeds, so I am a little paranoidChat Icon (even though DD doesn't have nose bleeds)
