little interest in baby food
I don't know if this is a coincidence... DS is almost 9 months old and at his ped apt yesterday he told us to begin soft table food. I realized that the last few days DS has had little interest in baby food -- especially baby cereal with fruit mixed in. I am thinking he's ready for some soft table food. What do you think?
I usually feed him cereal with fruit 2x a day. What kinds of things could I replace these meals with? I get so stressed about food and feeding him. Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: little interest in baby food
You should start with soft, cubed foods: banana, ripe pear, avocado, sweet potato, cheese (really small to start), etc.
You could also try puffs broken in half.

Re: little interest in baby food
My DD started having less and less interest in baby food around that time as well. I started giving her more table foods - small pieces of fruits, veggies, chicken, pasta, etc.
