Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
What age would you bring your DC to see this? Julia just LOVES the Little Mermaid, and I'm sure she would just be sooo excited if we took her to see it, but I'm wondering how long she would want to sit in the seat for? Will it hold her attention that long, or will I be pulling my hair out??
If anyone saw it with there kids, was there other children there, even little ones? Julia is 2 1/2. Thanks!

Re: Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
According to the website, they aren't recommending this for under 6.

Re: Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
I probably wouldn't take a 2.5yr old to any Broadway play. It is hard to ask them to sit still for a 2.5 hour show plus intermission. Sorry!

Well I usually wouldn't I'm not that insane--lol but Julia is obsessed with the Little Mermaid, so I figured it would be something that would hold her attention.

Re: Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
can she watch the whole movie in one sitting? (then maybe she would make it the whole show!)
i guess i will go against the crowd...if you can go with her early on and she learns ho wmuch fun broadway is, you're that much luckier!

Re: Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
We are taking Ava in Feb. She will be 3 years and 7 months old. I saw that it said 6 years old on the website, but I am hoping for the best. I will crazy glue her butt to the chair for what I paid for those tickets....

Re: Little Mermaid, on broadway ?
I wouldn't take a child that young to a show that long. My son went to his first show (Chitty) at age 6 and had a hard time sitting that long. I also don't think it's fair to the other people around you if your child is antsy, talking etc. Of course I think if that happened you would go outside of the theater

Well we are probably going to take her after the holidays (if I can get tickets), I just didn't want to be the only ones there with a child, I would feel better if there are other kids there so if Julia decided to act up I wouldn't be so Do you know if they have a website that show's clips of the show?

Well Julia is a very good and really listens well, thats way I was thinking about taking her, plus its something she loves!! If she did get antsy one of us would go outside with her, let her run loose a little--lol I wouldn't torture the others....
