Work: Upper East Side Manhattan
Commute 5 days/week: Drive to train station, train, subway, then bus. 2 hours each way.

I live in Amity Harbor.
My office is in Lynbrook.
It takes about an hour there and back, but this counts dropping of DS/picking him up + stopping for coffee in the AM, and I also use Sunrise Hwy so lotsa lights.
It always seems to take a lot longer coming home at night though.

I live in Bayside.
Work in Midtown.
Commute is about 50 minutes each way on the LIRR . I live/work walking distance to the station which is included in the 50 minutes.

I live in PJS
Work in N. Amityville
Commute by car 45 min the am. I leave by 615 and 45-1hr depending on what time I leave.
So about 90-2hrs depending. The commute is not terrible once you are on the southshore.

Commute: 3.5 miles or 8 minutes  , for DH he takes an express bus to the Path train in Nyc and then vice versa...it can take anywhere from an hour to 1.5-2hrs. Usually closer to an hour though.

Commute: Drive to express bus in Roslyn (2 miles) then express bus straight to downtown. Morning commute is 50 minutes to 1 hr 5 minutes door to door (go to the gym so I leave my house at 6:10 a.m. and I am at the gym downtown between 7:00 a.m. -7:15 a.m.). Evening commute can be anywhere between 50 minutes to 1.5 hours door to door.

Prior to working from home which I currently do now. I lived in Coram, worked in Port Jeff Sta. commute was 7 minutes door to door.
