Loestrin 24

If anyone was on Leostrin Fe 24, did you have a probelem after a year of being on it? I was suppose to get it on the 28th and just spotted for 2 days and after being 4 days late i took a HPT and that was Neg. So i started my pill pack again then yesterday i had breakthrough bleeding and cramping and today nothing,

Has anyone had the same thing with Loestrin??

Yes, I was on Loestrin 24 for a few years and in the beginning, everything was great. Then I started not getting AF at all some months. I would POAS and always negative. I think this is normal b/c you only get 4 days of placebos and then you are right back onto another new pack. This is one of the reasons I went off BCP.

I was also on Loestrin 24 for about a year or so with hardly any menstrual symptoms and no spotting whatsoever. After about a year I started to have breakthrough bleeding before AF and I actually started to get pretty sick every time I would start the new month's pack. I had tried quite a few different pills in addition to Loestrin 24 and then finally just gave up on bcp entirely because of all the side effects!

ETA: Just re-read your post again....although I did have some spotting at times and my period was also delayed some months....I don't recall any months where I did not get a normal period at all.

I was on Loestrin and had very light periods...every few months I skipped it all together.
Never had any cramping though....I actually liked that pill a lot!

Yep - the first year was great. then i stopped getting my period every other month. the month i would get it it was really really heavy.

I was on it for less than a year. I had the breakthrough bleeding at first and then never got my period... except the morning of my wedding, lol. I liked it though.

I was given this pill after i had my son (hes 5 months) i had break through bleeding for 2 months, last month was a full blown period 2 weeks after i had it. so im off that now and taking something else, its a chewable one, but forgot the name.
