BTW - are you really using flashcards with him??? If so - what do you do with them for him at this age??
I broke them out on a whim one day when I was out of things to do with him and he loved them. With each new picture he kicks his legs and gets all excited.
Mostly I hold them up and say the word a couple of times.
Sometimes I say them in the other languages.
Sometimes I make noises like the animals.
Sometimes he chews on them.
