Go to the AKC website if you want to buy through a breeder....they will recommend a good breeder. If you want to adopt - try Petfinders.com or go to the AKC website and search for Miniature Pinscher rescues.

ITA. Please also make sure to research this breed very carefully. They are great dogs, but have very high energy levels and need extra attention while training.
I had the best mini pin ever. He was a rescue and an absolute love. We had to put him to rest 2 years ago this week, and I still think about him every day.
ETA: Also, Miniature Pincers are not miniature Dobermans. They are 2 separate breeds, and Mini Pins actually pre-date Dobermans.

i have a miniature pinscher (drop off the word doberman, they are completely seperate breeds) and i LOVE him but i highly recomend AGAINST getting them. they are the BIGGEST abrkers EVER. he isnt friendly either. just do your reserach and make sure thts the rigth dog for you.

Funny, my friend has two Min-Pins and they don't bark at all...they are, however, the sweetest things ever. Whenever I go over there, they take turns laying in my lap.

My friends Min-Pins are both female.
