London Hotels
A trip to England might be in our future!
Any nice resonable hotel recommendation?
I have been in London before, but with an ex who was there on business and stayed in a really expensive hotel cause his job was paying for it.
Definitely not spending money on it!

Re: London Hotels
The last time I went to London ('02) I stayed at the Kensington Close Hotel in South Kensington. Very centrally located with a tube station around the corner. the hotel rooms were very basic - bed, tv, bathroom, dresser - nothing that was great but it was clean and comfortable. . . and you wont spend much time in the room anyway.
The hotel has a spa, pub, restaurant, and a pretty nice gym with a surprisingly big indoor pool - i went swimming the morning of our departure and when I saw the pool I really wished I had taken advantage of swimming there every morning.
I booked on priceline and didnt have a lot of money to spend. I was happy with what I got.

Re: London Hotels
I also stayed at the Kensington Close Hotel when I was there in 2001. DH and I went for our HM in November and stayed at the Harrington Hall Hotel in South Kensington as well.

Re: London Hotels
What kind of hotel are you looking for? If you want an American Style hotel there is the Marriott. If you want a more boutique-hotel feel then there are a whole bunch. I'd suggest that you take a look at virgin-vacations.com They have great deals and many hotel choices.
(BTW..England is AWESOME!)

OMG you are soooo right! And you should try some more "provincial" towns...Manchester is fabulous! Glasgow, Edinburgh, Brighton, I could go on....
Can I also mention how much I love British men....
